On this page you will find some questions that will need to be carefully thought out. Your answers to these questions will ultimatly define how your web site will appear. When building a bricks and mortor store front, every aspect of how your lobby, displays, location of cash registers, isles, and signage appears are considered from the customers point of view. The same is true  with  web page development.  The questions you see below become the foundation upon which a web based storefront can be built.
What is the name of your company?
 
What is your company's slogan (if you have one)?
 
What type of products will you sell on your website?
 
Are you going to sell your own products, or are you going to use a wholesale distributor?
 
What color would you like for the header and for the navigation buttons on your site (choose one: aqua, blue, orange, red, or purple)?
 
Do you want a vertical or a horizontal navigation bar?
 
For your six pages of layout, one will be your the "Home" page. What would you like to call the other five pages (five names please)?
 
What text do you want to appear as the content of your six layout pages?
 
Note: We DO NOT write your text. Please provide the word-for-word, proofread text you want to appear as the content of your pages.
 
Exactly how would you like each of your pages to look? (Please be specific.)
Example: "On my homepage I want the attached picture of my product centered with 'Welcome to mycompany.com' written above the picture. Beneath the picture I want the text that I will email you that is titled 'homepagetext.doc'. If possible, I would like that text to be in Times New Roman font and...."
 
Notes:
     a) We DO NOT place images on your site other than the images YOU provide. A simple description of the desired image is not sufficient. Please email the desired image as an attachment.
     b) This package does not include finding or creating custom images other than the two custom standard graphics (Standard Logos, Splash Graphics, or Animated Graphics).
 
Which four graphics would you like? You can view your options for Standard Logos, Splash Graphics, and Animated Graphics at www.ubuilder.com.
 
Notes:
     a) If you order a Standard Logo, please send your company's logo as a .jpg or .gif to design@usight.com.
     b) If you order Splash Graphics, please indicate your choice of graphics by number and by whether they are "Star" graphics or "Wow" graphics.
     c) If you order an Animated Graphic, please specify the name of your company and the number of the graphic you want.
 
What is your payment gateway (Epenzio, Verisign, uGateway, or Linkpoint) username? (We need this information to set up your payment gateway account in your shopping cart.)
 
Are you going to charge shipping? If yes, proceed through the steps. If not, you are done with the questions.
 
Are you going to charge shipping by product, or by weight?
If by weight, what is the price per pound you want to charge? What is the weight of each product?
 
Are you going to offer more than one shipping method (Standard, 2 Day, Next day, etc.)? If so, what price per pound do you want to charge for each method?
 
If by product, what is the price per product you want to charge?
 
Are you going to offer more than one shipping method (Standard, 2 Day, Next day, etc.)? If so, what price per product do you want to charge for each method?
 
Not all of the proceeding questions may pertain to your business. A legal practice, dental office or doctor, or other professional will not be charging shipping for products sold over the internet. It is relevent though to consider how any business needs to address the question of how their web site looks to the potential customer or client. Whether you have an Information and Advertising web site, or a fully e-Commerce enabled web site, you have to treat the site like a store front where you will receive clients and customers, and make them feel at home.
